Since many here prefer to buy garments or footwear discounted, onsale, used, what have you...I thought it would be an interesting idea to pose somewhat of a challenge. Here is the premise- Post a picture of an outfit of yours in which no single piece cost you more than $100 dollars. Also, if you can recall the specifics, post what each piece is and what it cost you. Hopefully we'll see some complete thrift store get-ups, some second hand wonders or garage sale finds. Sound fun?

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
