New arrivals 2nd-3rd week of Jan.

Shell derbies not being restocked this time, they are being made in reverse fox suede (and maybe hatch grain, I don't even remember what I ordered anymore). Any shoe can be MTO'd for no additonal cost but would need to be ordered in the next week or so in order to come with the Jan. shipment. There are about half a dozen different MTO's coming, stuff that I am not putting in inventory so I'll post pics of those.

The Derby last and shoe is my favorite of all (followed by the Buda's but I know those are an acquired taste).

The three eyelet dark brown ones we were just taking about? You can't have the 11s ;-)

I know Ed posted a photo of someone wearing them in the wild but I don't know who.

In re restocks: Ordering an MTO pair from Ed is beyond easy.

Well that is all very interesting, and something to certainly consider! The "no additional cost" bit extremely surprising and well received.

Note: while I have gone 3 sizes above my actual size before, I think I may have to hold off in this case!!

Yes. That's right. I'm very important and my problems are unique.

Speaking of problems, I solved my tobacco derby problem.

    ^:)

Definitely chat with Ed. Budays are really lovely shoes, and Ozzy and I need some more codependents here in the thread.

I MTO'd the pair of Budapesters I've posted photos of just above, and Ed was very careful to make sure that I got what I wanted.

In fact, I'd say he went a least a little bit out of his way considering that it was the first transaction I'd ever made with Panta.

His terms were very accommodating and he delivered exactly what I ordered in a timely fashion.

It was really painless way to get a superb pair of shoes, complete with shoe trees and shipping for the price.

So, @edmorel got the tobacco derbies to me posthaste. :fistbump:

These are on the Frakno last (Ed: correct that if it is wrong).

I think the size 11 is maybe a touch on the large side for me in what I recall is the Frakno last. 10.5 might in fact work for me in these. I'm going to have to figure out how to know if this is the case.

But I put a pair of insoles in and that seems to tidy things up pretty well.

    Here's what I like:
    The tobacco shell is stunning
The three eyelet derby style really shows off the leather on the vamp. Sort of like wearing chukkas.
The Frakno last has a beautiful, tall, almond shaped toe. It may in fact be my ideal toe shape.

Also (really) nice are the Buday craftsmanship (the sole panting, nails, brass toe tap, and the full sock liner (apparently an Hungarian thing as Vass and Attila both use this as well) and lasted trees.

And yes, those are raindrops on the shell. No, Ed, don't worry. I'm not sending them back.

I was like, he is wearing them outside and in the rain and he wants to exchange!!!!! :)

that is my favorite shoe because of its versatility and the style is one that I think you can do in multiple leathers or suedes and it will all work.

If they could make 2-3 clones of you and your shopping habits, you guys would singlehandedly support every vendor that exists in the SF universe.
