They have indeed stopped production due to too much inventory. A pity! I just stole this pair from Budapest, the only Budapester they had in my size left:
Couldn’t resist snapping the photo on the bus ride back to the hotel...

I was in Budapest for a day but by the time I found the Buday store it was closed (as was the Vass and Rozsnyai stores). My wife was with me so there probably wasn't going to be any buying anyway....:rolleyes:

Hello Jazz, this is a beautiful pair of Budays! How does the sizing run on this style? I wear 10D in most Allen Edmonds lasts, and 9.5D in Alden's Barrie last. I also have a pair of Vass Valways in a 43 (F last) that fit well. I was wondering if I should try the Buday BP 11 in a 9? Thank you for any information. Cheers!

These are size 9.5, my US size is 10.5, 10 in the "Barrie", 43.5 in Vass F last. Size 9 sounds right for you. You will love these incredibly underappreciated shoes.:slayer:
