I used these with the JM Weston triple soles because the soles are so thick that they caused some heel slipping until they broke in.
Curiously, it worked really well with one pair and not so well with the other (Perhaps, I had not installed the heel grips well enough which caused one corner of one grip to roll up on itself causing some pain). It may be worth a try anyway.
