I am usually no too dressed up. Jeans, plain t shirt or some kind of polo to work. Looking to retire my current pair of shoes and want to get a pair of desert boots. Just seeing which color/style are better with jeans. Brown suede or beeswax.

I just bought some dark brown suede J Crew desert boots (had some gift certs), and hopefully the color will work out well. IMO dark brown is more versatile; you can wear it with chinos, and pair it with a light colored shirt without seeming too 'matchy'. I have a pair of the grey distressed suede Clarks, and I really like them too.

Dark Brown Suede with dark indigo Jeans. For black jeans I'd go with the sand suede. Grey distressed suede is always an option too!

Beeswax can look good with jeans, I just really like the look of the suede. I wouldn't personally wear the beeswax with any sort of dressier pant. If you only wear jeans, the beeswax would work fine. I have a pair of the cheapo BR ones that I picked up during the buying frenzy, but I never wear them and probably am going to sell them.
