Quick question. I'm just starting to actually learn things about dressing, so be kind

.

I've got a darker brown thin cord jacket I'd like to wear tonight. I love the jacket and it looks great with just a button down and jeans. I was thinking of doing a v-neck sweater with an oxford under today though. I have a lot of different sweaters and oxfords, with different colors and patterns. Any suggestions on a good pairing? Would a brown sweater, blue oxford work under a brown jacket? How dark on the sweater?

the jacket is similar to this:

but with only 1 pocket on the right side.

Thanks

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
