What is more traditional on a DB suit, welted or flap jacket pockets?

The Asian man has welted while Manton's has flap?

No way it is the Minnis. The Minnis stripe is much louder than that. It's probably H&S Victory.

H&S 11 ounce. It's on the flimsy side, to be honest, but I like the color and pattern, better even than the Minnis, which is in other respects better cloth.

I think brown suits are underrated, at least for social gathers. Shortly after the brown flannel (subtle blue pinstripes) Adrian Jules suit (SB, 2-button side vented) I picked up from Vman around her came back from the tailor, I wore it to a cocktail party, with a yellow spread collar shirt (Eton I think) open at the neck, blue linen pocket square, and reddish Ferragamo Tramezza Gee ankle boots. Let's just say it worked out for me that night.
