I'm going to be selling a few things which I've decided are not optimal fit for me, or which I haven't used enough. The first is a fantastic Brooks Brothers Golden Fleece sportcoat. This is a "blazer" without the blazer buttons. It's single breasted, notched lapel, two button (dark blue/black buttons currently on the jacket). The lapels have very nice visible pick stitching. The body is lined in navy, but the sleeves are lined in a striped pattern. The weight is good for year-round wear. It could be worn on summer days, though perhaps not the hottest, and you'd be fine wearing it in the winter, perhaps layered with a sweater on very cold days. Fully canvassed, of course. The sleeve buttons are non-functioning. Made in the U.S.A. I believe it was a custom order that was not collected.

I wore the jacket all of half-a-dozen times. I wanted it to fit, but it just doesn't. Too short for me.

I will try to post pictures soon. It's basically what you imagine it would look like. The gorge height and shape is nice and standard. Not too high, not too low. The jacket may actually be an orphaned suit coat, but you can't tell from the material. I kept planning on switching the buttons to brown horn, but didn't because I knew it didn't fit.

Measurements
Shoulder: 17"
Chest: 39"
Waist: 37"
Length from bottom of collar: 28.25"
Sleeve 23.25"

What would this cost from Brooks? $900, $1000? I'm not sure, and don't know if they even sell Golden Fleece blazers now. This is the kind of high-end basic which doesn't often go on sale. I'm asking only $200.

So the jacket is navy? I don't think you mention it.
