I was wondering if anyone uses their sport shirts for work? Aside from styles, what is the difference between them and the dress shirts?

I'll wear the sports button downs on Fridays - for me the fit tends to be a little more relaxed, more complex and 'fun' patterns.

Also, at most places, including BB, the sport shirts are S,M,L... vs the exact neck and sleeve length

The patterns. Sports shirts normally have button down collars, dress shirts aren't supposed to. Sport shirts may also be flat cut at the bottom and will be shorter, but may not be (designed to be worn untucked).

I've often wondered this too. Can you wear a tie with a sport shirt?
