So... I racked up 26,000 points back in July - August billing cycle and have yet to receive a single reward certificate (should have been $260 worth of reward certificates)

After about a dozen (I **** you not) calls to BB Mastercard Customer Service, I'm still standing on square one.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced, second only to Alienware computers.

Has anyone had a similar experience and found a way to overcome this?

supposedly they have one of the best customer service. im sorry to hear that.

i use my norstrom card (rewards also) all the time, and although their store has alot left to be desired, their customer service has been, to me, number one.
they treat me like a VIP. one small complaint from me (and trust me i hardly ever complain, but if they sense i am alluding to a complaint) they resolve it so fast and here comes another 20 dollar nordstrom note. i say, you dont have to do this, but they say, it is our pleasure and we want you to be one of our great customers.
they always bring a tear to my eye.

i would step up to them and complain a little.

Well sounds like they are doing much better than the BB Mastercard guys at customer service.

I've had no results, repeated lies, and the runaround more times than I can count.

I wish there was a customer advocate or something.

It normally takes a number of months before I get my rewards card. Just give it time. Best to not think about it and just be pleasantly surprised when you finally get them.

Is it a point per dollar spent for the BB card?

Nordstrom's customer service is incredible. I don't even have their CC and they still treat me like a king there. They always take time to call around to find items in my size. One time a long while ago, I bought a pair of jeans that I forgot about. 3 months later, I found them but was no longer feeling the style. They took them back no questions asked.

been waiting 3 months for my first reward card.
although, i got my birthday reward card 3 weeks before my birthday this month. immediately bought a jar of cordovan and black paste wax.

i'm pretty dissapointed with the customer service too. was hoping to spend the rewards during their sale. i think they're conspiring against us.

No, its 4 points per dollar spent and then they get awarded as $20 gift cards for every 2,000 points. So if you spend $500 you'll get 2,000 points and then a $20 card. $20/$500 = 4%. Not bad.

They seem to wait one entire billing cycle after the purchaes are paid for before issuing the cards. I guess they want some confidence that the purchases won't be returned. Then they have an expiration date about 6 months in the future.
