Brooks Brothers jacket fits

I've recently purchased a few Brooks Brothers jackets that are my usual size and that fit well in the chest and shoulder. On these recent purchases, the vent hangs open somewhat, and the jackets look tight in the waist. One of these jackets was a Fitzgerald cut. I own a Fitzgerald suit and the jacket fits great. The other jacket is not Fitzgerald, but has the same fit issues.

So... are BB jackets changing for the worse? Has anyone else noticed this? Perhaps I'm simply growing disproportionate (though I am still rail skinny...)
