I bought this coat from the excellent ebay seller Tarheel this spring. I've come to my senses and realized that while this is a beautiful jacket, it doesn't fit me. My loss is your gain. The same jacket would cost you roughly $500 new from Brooks. It's from the Fall 2005 collection and was made in Italy from genuine Harris Tweed. I love it, but am concerned it didn't fit you as a 38s.

I've got a couple HT blazers and they are spot on for me off the rack at 38s.

Was it too tight/loose for you?

I have a high waist, long legs, and long arms. Some shorts fit me very well, but on some, the button stance or length is wrong

On this jacket, the stance was fine, but the sleeves were too short and the jacket was about an inch too short. The sleeves are easily correctable, but it doesn't make sense to pay for the alteration if the rest will still be off.
