Brooks Brothers Cavalry Twill pants

Has anybody purchased and worn the Brooks Brother cavalry twill wool pants that are currently in the stores? I'd been looking at a pair of the flat fronts (either in brown or charcoal) but wanted reactions before dropping $140 (retail $230).

They look solid. The cloth looks quality - sturdy, but not too rough.

$230 seems a bit much. But at 140, they seem like a decent deal.

I'll second Jeff's recommendation. I have those Zegnas and love them. A great basic pair, and surprisingly comfortable.

I saw those -- but he doesn't have my size and I don't want to have the waist taken in 2 inches. They are nice though.
