Is anyone here familiar with the quality of Brooks Brothers exotic skin merchandise. I'm strongly considering this as a replacement for my current getup, which is simply a cardholder.

The particular one I saw in-store had a much nicer appearing skin, with smaller scales.

At $400 its a comparable cost to your average LV or coach wallet.

RL's wallet seems much nicer, but is also much more expensive. Lined with croc as well. $1500.

Alligator/Croc is just too out there for my tatstes. I'd maybe consider a belt, but I can't imagine carrying a croc wallet. If you want an exotic, the BB Lizard wallet looks good (and is cheaper too). Not sure how durable they are though.

That BB wallet looks heinous. I remember a smaller company making exotic leather goods, will try to find it.

Thanks. The Mulholland products look nice, and well made. Shame on brooks for choosing such a lousy piece for the online image, the in-store version I saw yesterday was far nicer.

The quality is good. I have the BB croc eyeglass case and have been pleased with it.
