Hi- i discovered this addictive forum while looking for Details mag and GQ on line at work- i even spotted a senior member called Bateman that presented an uncanny link to my obsession with the easton ellis character of the same name- only in a sartorial sense tho. I used to play in a band in the 80s and we adopted a preppy Brooks Bros look-complete withe fantastically wide Florshem cordovan wingtips and rep ties- i never got over it really and still wear these clothes today as theyre the most comfortable stylish menswear one can buy-i beleive. Everytime a mate goes to the US i have a list for Brooks Bros shirts and have recently bought some new florsheims from the madison and 5th branch- beautiful.
Other threads on this forum also have me addicted- the x girlfriend stuff and 'what did you do last night' are great. My mates here in the UK dont get this- but maybe its a hit of nostalgia when i used to go to the mid west maybe 6 time a year..I'll continue to read and enjoy the entries that are made-this site could make GQ redundant- for me at least...

Wait, did I miss something? He [admittedly slightly eccentrically] described why he likes our forum, then you ask WTF is wrong with him?
