Allen Edmonds Macneill...superb...why have AE stopped making them ?

I didn’t know they’d stopped. Seems like a bit of an own goal as that was surely one of their most popular models?
My first pair of AEs are burgundy shell McNeils. Got them in October 2010. They don’t get a lot of wear but they’re bulletproof and look great. I also have black calf like in your picture.

As I understand it AE deleted the Macneill from their range a few years ago.
Maybe they dont sell as well as we would assume ?... I have never seen anyone wear them in England but tbh I can say the same about Trickers,Cheaney and Alfred Sargent.

Maybe Barker ?....or possibly Loake.
They do look nice.
I did think Barker when I saw them and look similar to their Calder.
They’re certainly very nice looking boots.

Got them for £78 with postage, thank you for the info 🙏
So, got my boots today but sadly they’re slightly too big in volume and the laces touch either side. I’ve ordered a volume reduction insole to see if that will help, if not I’ll sell them on.
