brogues - first purchase

Hi everyone, i am new to this site and new to brogues!! i decided i wanted a pair of tan brogue shoe and like the Loake chester shoe when i have had a look on the internet...

however at the moment i am a little bit short of money and dont want to pay more than 50-60pounds.

can anyone give any recommendations for a reasonable pair at that price, i understand they wont last forever but smart and look ok.

Hi, you cant always get decent quality at that price unless you get a good brand on one of the discounting sites, brandalley etc, or on sale somewhere. TBH, a lot of the well known "English" brands are actually made in China nowadays under licence. English shoe shop who have shoes made for them in England by some of the remaining good mfr's. I've had Shoes from here and have lasted well. Hope this helps.
