Nice - shell longwings are definitely on my wish list. I’ve seen so many vintage Florsheims on eBay, but never pulled the trigger.

Nice - shell longwings are definitely on my wish list. I’ve seen so many vintage Florsheims on eBay, but never pulled the trigger.

I bought these on an impulse (on eBay) and immediately regretted the decision, but after I cleaned them up, I realized how beautiful they are. I love them.

I think I need to get them re-soled. The uppers kind of lean towards the outside.

Yes, these look great. Very similar to the Timpson "Royals" Just missing the serrated tongue (I notice the tiny details). Alden's bluchers have the right tongue.
