Broad, stocky shoulders. What should I look for in a jacket?

Morning gents,

I am looking at getting a sport jacket but everything I've tried on in the past suit-wise, I've always felt 9-feet wide at the shoulder.

Without going tailored, is there a particular style I can look out for with less padding in the shoulders?

Thanks!

There are now a number of companies making jackets with unpadded shoulders. Look for companies advertising 'soft' shoulders or Italian-style jackets. What is your budget? In the $400-500 range check out some of Suitsupply's jackets (e.g. the Havana model) and Spier & Mackay.
