thought there might be interest in this BBC series from last fall, called British Style Genius It's about an hour long, and it's broken up into 6 parts on youtube. It's really quite good, sort of a companion series to "Sounds of Underground London" which is also phenomenal and one of the best series on UK street culture I've seen, tho I've never seen it on youtube surprisingly. One of the best part about this is the old vintage newsreel footage, amazing stuff some of it. Part 1 Mostly about Teddy Boys Part 2 Continuing Teds, a bit of hip hop, and Mod Part 3 More Mod, and Fred Perry Part 4 Skinheads & Raf Simons Part 5 Casuals, sportswear from 80s Part 6 Continuing Casuals, chavs, and finishing scenes

Great series, thanks for sharing.

Looks like it went downhill after the casuals imo.

Thanks GetSmart. Really interesting and informative.

Kind of makes me want to get a mohair suit.

I enjoyed them when they were on TV a few months back. The teddy, mods and suits ones were the best
