Brioni tailor in San Francisco?

Are there any tailors you recommend for bringing in a Brioni shirt in San Francisco? I have a Brioni shirt, but it's really big in the waist. I'm a bit skinny myself, so I wanted to get it tailored.

Does it make sense to go to Neiman Marcus? I bought the shirt online.

He altered some trousers for me about 15 yeaRs ago.
They were rendered unwearable. I suppose taking in a shirt is far less
complicated.

Was it a complicated alteration? Just curious about what ended up being the fault(s) in his work? I ask because I was thinking of taking an older cashmere Zegna sportcoat to him that needs some alteration...now I'm unsure based on your experience.

Complicated alteration? Not really. It doesn't take a Bespoke master to shorten the rise on a pair of cavalry twills.
Had this done before and since with success. Andy blew it. Perhaps he cut that class in tailoring school.

They will. The charges are different, but they will still tailor most items unless it is something extreme (like fully recutting a tailored jacket). For a shirt, it's fine. Darts or tapering would probably be $25-40, depending on need. And if you have an established salesperson at the store and/or a Nordstrom card, they'll work with you and figure out how to make it happen.

Probably not imitate the original stitching. I really don't think any alterations tailor would do that.
