Well, looks like my new suit will be shipped soon-- that means i will get to try it on in about 50 days! really looking forward to seeing it, here is the latest news I have; I went for the 1 3/4 inch cuffs on the trousers. I had a scan of the cloth (300 ounce, navy blue with french blue pinstripes) that i posted, but not sure what i did with the original graphic.
Here's the news from Bergdorf:
...asked my Brioni rep for the info you requested regarding your suit [what is the difference in man hours and details between RTW and MTM] and still waiting for his reply. Your suit did come in today and it looks great. Please send me the address to where you want it shipped after the alterations ( except 8 working button holes on the sleeves ) are completed and when you want it to arrive. I will call Brioni again next week so that you can have the info you requested. Thanks for your visit with me at Bergdorf Goodman.
...I have Tony K., our tailor, check the specs of your suit with the measurements we have on file. I have him releasing the waist on the pants to 35 inches to accommodate the braces you wanted to use with the suit. The suit will be ready to ship this Thursday by 2nd day Fedex. Remember that the suit will need your approval on the sleeve length before we make working button holes(8) and the length( inseam ) of the trousers to be finalized. What cuff height would you like? 1 and 1/2 inch or 1 and 3/4 inch ?
