In very heavy rain with strong winds, will these expensive umbrellas fall apart or disfigure? I don't get why they don't use gustbuster technology but with nicer materials and sleeker design.

It is hard for me to think of anything LV makes as being elegant other than their trunks. The logo festooned umbrella you posted is especially crass as its primary function is label display. But that is just my opinion.

So get the Brigg, unless you run in circles where label display is important.

My $40 Barneys NY umbrella is always the best on the street and after 4 years of Seattle rain, still looks brand new. Do that.

Brigg for me - I had one of the Paul Smith ones two or theee years ago, but it was blown to pieces as I was walking home form the office in Brighton one evening in a storm that the Brigg would have comfortably survived

can't believe I'm asking this, but I know someone who will probably love that....
So here we go... Where can I find that discounted Paul Smith umbrella

Thinking about it, I just lost my umbrella, better go look for the link to the brigg seconds... MUCH BETTER. Leave the LV tat unless you're a brand whore, which I'm guessing you aren't because you actually know about SAB and are asking

On this page it just said Brigg versus Louis Vuitton

At first glance I thought it was a boxing match.

I like Brigg in a knockout in the 7th round!

Who would want the Louis Vuitton?!? It looks like a lady's parasol. It's beautiful, but not for a man.
