Briefcases

Lately I've been wanting a nice briefcase really bad. When I think briefcase, I think CASE like the nice solid rectangle box with the handle and locks on top...

But when I look online all I see is messenger bags and other similar bags/satchels.

Are the briefcases I like not in style anymore? Why can't I find one and why does everyone make "brief-bags" now?

If there are still companies making nice old-school briefcases, do you have any recommendations?
