    Stepeh,nice briefcase. eBay?

Yes - don't look it up though. I'm ashamed at what I paid. Spotted the photo, fell in love with it.
The auction ended at 1am on a Saturday morning which is a recipe for disaster seen as though I got back home at 12.30 after going straight to the pub from work...

Was actually really surprised with the weight of it when it arrived - a lot heavier than I was expecting....

I know what you mean. I picked up the RL version of the Westminster at the mansion a few years ago. It felt like it was loaded with bricks even though it was empty.

Brooks also has Westminster with straps,it is huge but a lovely case. I used to have it, but never really used it as it was way too big to carry around. But SAB cases are great.

New (well second hand) SAB (not sure of the model - it's very similar to the Westminster Wrap...)

Nice and nicely aged LV case. Strange that the logo is upside down when carried around.

The following one is handmade too.

    There are no seams.

    Attachment 32615

It consists of one single piece of dense Italian full grain leather which has been folded.
Then there are 2 straps (shoulder strap and the flap in front).
The shoulder strap also keeps the folded piece together.
The leather is vegetably tanned and waterproof.

I do not know if we can call it a briefcase, though. It is a rather a shoulder bag for men.

^Wow; very unique! I like it. Could you possibly post that pic and give us info about the maker HERE:

I think it would be a nice addition there, thanks!

As for the above SAB, beautiful. I usually think SAB looks too business-like/traditional for my tastes, but that one above is just lovely.

Jello, I also like the way the case has aged. The vintage LV pieces look great IMO.

I love the crafstmanship of SAB, but also think they're a bit too old school. Here's my take on the SAB.

    ^^^Looks huge.

+1. Old school is actually good for bags. How heavy are walden bags, btw?

I actually considered walden bags but I decided the styling is not for me ... thats why I went with mw-traveler. Eagerly waiting this ...

The dimensions are a bit smaller than the SAB at 17 x 12.

With just the rear ticket pocket the bag is about 6.5 lbs. With a full-length rear magazine/newspaper pocket it will be a bit heavier.
