Mrs is carrying few folders with papers, some snacks, meds, crap here and there in a freaking paper shopping bag... for number of reasons, I can't take this **** anymore! Now... who makes good female bags alongs the lines like the one in the link -

Today I saw a woman carrying a smallish Filson tote, like the one at top left in tincloth but a little larger:

Looked really good. Actually she was wearing "heritage/Americana" from head to toe...Clarks Wallabees, some sort of tight slim fit blue cords, a snorkel type coat...don't see it on women a lot, but she was tall and willowy and pulled it off.

Have you ever heard of Moore & Giles? I bought one of their wallets this week and am in love with the quality. Great leather, great craftmanship. Handmade in Virgina I believe... Here is a tote that I think fits what you are looking for: http://www.mooreandgilesinc.com/shop...-milled-brown/ J. Crew is also carrying an Imogene + Willie tote that I am in love with. It is in the men's section but looks pretty gender neutral to me: http://www.jcrew.com/mens_category/a...5720/35720.jsp Do you think she would want something on the dressier side or perhaps more casual?

Get her a glaser briefcase. Pray that she doesn't like it. Then commandeer it from her.
