Hello All,
This is my first post and I just wanted to thank everyone at the forum for all of the amazing information that I have come across in the last year or so of viewing on occasion. I have been particularly interested in all of the Alden/AE and Calf/Cordovan conversations. I am happy to say that I just bought my first pair of Aldens (920 - Dark Brown) from Kathy over at Alden DC and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. These shoes are going to be a staple of my wardrobe for many, many years to come. My only other pair of "real" shoes are a pair of split toe Magnanni's (which I love), but these Aldens are on a whole other level. Simply beautiful.
Anyways, sorry for the rant but thank you everyone. On another note, Kathy at Alden DC was amazing and I definitely will be back in the near future for a few more purchases.
