Is there a tradition to this placement? I don't think I seen a right breast pocket yet.
shirt or suit? I put my casual shirt pockets on the right, because I am left handed. I played with the idea of doing it with my suits, but that strikes me as a little strange
Yes, I meant suit. I've also considered it on my right since I'm a lefty.
I will ignore your blatant advertising but yes, I have seen on out-breast pocket on a suit on the wrong ie right side. The owner claimed to be left handed but could not offer any reasonable explanation when reminded that all that should be put in such pockets is a pocket square.
Inner pockets should indeed be handed to suit the wearer.
I put the ticket pocket on the left side, for balance it might make sense to put the breast pocket on the right, but I can't get my self to pull the trigger on something so obviously excentric. although I have to say I also keep my reading and sunglasses in the breast pocket, so it would make sense.
Anyone? Haile Selassie and JFK both have right breast pockets here
Yes, they also seem to be wearing women's suits?
Or this image is reversed.
