I used to have a few pairs of high-end raw/one-washed denim but dropped a couple waist sizes and haven't treated myself to a new pair of Japanese denim in a while. Dropped by Blue in Green and picked up Eternal 811s.

These things are stiff and rough. I've worn them all weekend and the rough texture of the denim is grating against the back of my knee. When I looked today, the skin was scraped pretty raw.

Like, wtf? I had raw LVCs and a couple pairs of O/W 45rpm, and this never happened to me. When the hell are these jeans going to soften up?

same thing happened to me with my S710s, but after about 3 weeks of wear they were a lot better

Yeah, it usually takes more than a whole weekend.
