Hi guys,
This is my first time buying a pair of good-year welted (albeit entry level) Cap Toe Oxford dress shoes. The shoe fits like a glove and I love the Elton last. However, I was a big disappointed to see some creases/cracks (not sure I know the difference) on what's a brand new pair.
So thought I'd check you experienced folks. While I understand that leather will develop creases over time, is it common to see creases on a new pair? Will a shoe tree help? Or should I return them and get a different pair? Thanks in advance and apologies if I am getting paranoid for no reason.
