Brand-less watches? Any recommendations?

I really loathe see brand names or symbols on my clothing. I refuse to be an unpaid advertiser for any brand. With this in mind, do you all have any recommendations for quality watches that are w/o branding?

Budget is under $1,000 and I do not care whether it is mechanical or quartz movement.

At least some Stowa, Laco, and Maratac watches come with no branding if you like flight watches. Kent Wang is another that comes to mind.

Nomos watches can be had used for around 1k. They are super minimalist, but also very much a watch-enthusiast's watch, with an in house manual wind movement and very modest yet fine details. The kind of watch nobody will notice unless they really know their stuff.

love them but I believe they all have the Nomos name on the face?

I don't think you're going to find a high quality mechanical watch with no branding on it, but you can find watches with very subtle branding that will not be obvious to anyone but you when you look closely.

Sometimes you just have to make concessions to your general rules. In keeping with its Bauhaus roots, Nomos watches are about as understated and unadorned as can be.

Watches without branding are often called "sterile" or "sterile dial." You could try searching for that. In most cases they're lower-end, though some of them can be quite decent, especially for the price. AFAIK almost everything in the price range you're thinking of will be branded.

Nomos is a great brand but dainty and not very suitable for a rougher lifestyle. I blew mine out operating a regular cordless hammer drill. Go with Omega.

1. I don't like straight lug
2. I find the design too sterile german...

Cruise around Ali Express. They have a ton of unbranded watches.
I have a plain dial Patek Peking Nautilus. ( it hacks and hand winds )
