Just out of curiosity, who in your opinion was the better baseball player, Ted Williams or Joe DiMaggio?

Williams should have swallowed his pride and hit to to avoid the shift. Dimaggio FWIW IMO was better.

You can have both. NFL teams have not yet devised a way to have both Brady and Manning at QB.

Something tells me Ginger would go for a threesome but Mary Ann would not, so you'd still have to choose.

I think that with a little fermented coconut juice she'd be down for whatever.

It's actually a somewhat interesting comparison in the Manning / Brady context. Williams is statistically superior, by a mile. Except that DiMaggio has 9 WS championships to Williams' 0. The comparison breaks down somewhat, however, in that (I would argue) a single outfielder is not nearly as important to a baseball team as a quarterback is to a football team (hence less overall influence on the championship #'s).

So it's currently 61-33 Brady, when does this final battle "end"?

I'm just hoping for another AFC Championship game with Colts v Pats

I'm hoping Manning remains Manning and the Colts are one and done. [IMG]

You're not hoping for another match between the best rivalry of the past decade? Or have you realized that Indy has a good shot at taking down the Pats?

I loved watching Vollmer, as a substitute, manhandle Freeney last year. Owned him.
