1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Florsheim Monarchs - purchased recently from Chris at Bennies; AE Ashlands in Chestnut; and my new brown AE McCallisters that arrived today (another Ebay purchase)

And a closer look at the McCallisters.

Any spots have to do with my lousy photo-taking ability.

I thought it was softcore that came wrapped in luxurious fabrics and exotic locales. You know, for the ladies.

The McAllister is one of my fav AE models. They discontinued that model, didn't they? Why did they get rid of all the classic models?

Oh my goodness. I saw those shoes at Saks and wanted them so badly. They were almost $800!

    I wanted to cry.

It appears they are discontinued. I got mine from Ebay from a woman who obviously scours yard sales and thrift shops. They are clearly fairly old, but in great shape.
