1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

These are very nice. I like the combination of natural leather and sterling. Flathead also makes one that goes around the wrist twice with the "s" hook.

Compared to our historical counterparts, the men today wear very little jewelry or other frivolities. Just look at paintings for royalty from a couple of hundred years ago, and you'll see what I mean.

Even in contemporary times, men in other cultures wear way more jewelry than western men. That said, I limit my jewelry to watches, wedding ring, and cuff links (occasionally a tie clip). While I enjoy bracelets, I reserve them for when I do not feel like wearing a watch.

It rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.

IDK, I don't think the bracelet is automatically effeminate. If you don't give off man-vibes, maybe you won't be helped that much by wearing one (or five or six), but I defy you to call Steve McQueen's ghost ghey for wearing one. Maybe it's just one of those "if you can pull it off" things. Rolex combo helps.

It's not a movement until there's a bracelet for it.

Can anklets go in this thread, or should another be started?

Do we have a piercings thread yet, or should we expand this one?

The way royalty used to do it, back in the day when men were men. Notice the bracelets and anklets.

^ That bas relief is a fake, based on the writing running vertically down the right.

Ebay is full of fakes, alas.

If you do come across a real one of these, let me know. It'll come in useful for the 10th anniversary party, where the true royalty will reveal themselves.
