Since this is a thread about bracelets, was wondering if someone could help me identify the maker of the bracelet below. I bought this and a few others when I was out in LA a couple years ago. They guy who does these uses natural stones and he had some really cool bracelets at the shop where I purchased this, forget the name of the store also (old age creeping in!). The store was in the Beverly Center. The makers initials are JB as shown in the little medallion attached to the bracelet. Appreciate any info, thanks!

I can't get behind any men's jewelry, unless it has:

• Practical use (watch, medical bracelet);
• Major cultural or religious significance (wedding ring, cross); or
• Magical powers (the Schwartz, ability to harness Earth/Fire/Wind/Water/Heart to fight environmental evildoers)

My own magic bracelet has the power to freeze time if not wound for a day or two.

Here come the anal retentives!

Singularly, the most shocking thing! Men wearing bracelets! The horror, my monocle fell off my face! Where's my tophat! Shocking and most affected!

Bring on the backlash. Men should not wear jewelry apart from wristwatches, wedding rings, and cufflinks. Frankly, I consider even things like tie bars, collar pins, and shirt studs to be suspect. Anything other than flowers, organizational affiliations or service ribbons/rosettes on the lapel are also inappropriate. In my own opinion of course.

Oh please, the backlash! Really! Let's bring on a backlash against uptight drama queens who approach fashion and style with a Taliban sensibility, in my own opinion of course.

One bracelet, on a wrist without a watch, seems to make sense to me. A little bit of sprezz or what have you. The whole pile of bracelets, plus the watch, just seems to be screaming look how eclectic and cool and funky I am!. (pay attention to me WAYWRN and/or blog readers?) Throw in the tailored clothing and it just makes a weird vibe. A little restraint goes a long way.

I suggest an anklet, worn with dub monks.

[IMG] I guess that great apes think alike. Multi-bracelet-wearers across the world have this to say to you: My quotation of their message implies neither disapproval nor endorsement.
