Picture a spear weilding hunter chasing a bison. Now picture a bowlegged spear weilding hunter chasing a bison. My guess is that natural selection will continue to keep bowlegs from predominance.

Yeah, you would think that right? I used to run track in high school, and there was another sprinter on my team who was bowlegged, and he actually was the fastest sprinter in school (100 yard). The guy was unbeatable, I could never figure it out.

Maybe the drag from having one's thighs rub together... Come to think of it, some runners I've seen have seemed a bit bowlegged.

I'm looking for some shoes to accent my pigeon-toed feet!
    Any ideas?

Not sure about shoes, but twisted seam denim might draw the eye down the leg and inward in the desired manner.[IMG]

I'm bowlegged, but rather than accentuating it, I'd like tips for reducing the bowed appearance.

Anyone? I can't imagine there are many guys who can give tips, being it's not a super common problem.

Re: the evolutionary aspect: I think someone on horseback with bowlegs could hunt down a bison better than a straight-legged guy.

Also, maybe horses is why cowboys have that bowlegged image. It's probably easier for bowlegged dudes to git up on that horse and ride 'er!

Hmm...in that case I'd assume the cowboy brands would be more likely to cater to that cut.

This is the first time I've ever heard girls noticing stuff like this.

Me too....guess the list of fetishes is getting longer everyday.

Straight legs, medium or dark wash, not slim fit, no distressing, no cuffs.

Some of John Galliano's jeans are cut with an extremely bowed leg - when you lie them down flat the legs visibly curve out, then twist around the leg when you put them on.

Expensive though, and recently have a tacky suede logo band across the thigh.

That just blows my mind that people would want pants to make their legs look bowed. It's such a novelty, trendy thing that it is completely wacky.

Those John Gallianos, for the most part, look ridiculous.
