Fellow Aussies,

Where do you source your bow ties from? I'm interested in proper (self-tie) ties only. I'm looking for a number of colours/patterns. Not just formal black.

Thanks,

Stuart

Tie Rack has a couple of nice ones at about $30 a pop (though they arent the best quality silk).

I got about 20 bow ties from this ebay seller from the US which came out to about $25 a pop, and they are quite nice.

Herringbone had a few different ones - I don't know if they'd still have any in stock. Typically, upmarket mens clothiers will have a few different bowties in stock, although they won't be cheap - Mitchell Ogilvie charges about $100 from memory. I've bought a couple of new-with-tags Polo RL bowties from Polo resellers on eBay without any problems. Finally, I have no idea of the quality, but this place was mentioned in a Winston Churchill-inspired thread recently: http://www.bowtieclub.com/
