Is that your favorite of the “birthday” iterations? I’m a big fan of their standard 86 proof for most cocktails...
The birthday is a separate thing, no?

They have 3 different 'dated' iterations, each representing a style - 1897,1910,1920.
1897 is their bottled-in-bond.
1910 is double barreled into a rechar cask .
1920 is supposed to be 'prohibition style' (not sure what that actually means other than being 115 proof)

Also, @Watchman1 is there a discernible difference between those Rare Breeds? I love the Wild Turkeys I’ve had, but am not sophisticated with all their offerings.

The bottle on the right is actually a Rye. The others are just the standard offering. BTW, I think WT RB is one of the finest whiskeys available. Especially when you consider cost/availability/quality ratio. Cheers!

KC has, I think, one of the best values for a cask strength bourbon.

It definitely has the KC sweetness but a little water really brings out the rye spice and cinnamon.

I'm not a huge fan, but surprising how much Weller Special Reserve I see collecting dust in liquor stores here in Texas. There's arbitrage there, but I don't break laws regarding interstate shipping of liquor, without a license no less, so I'll leave those 20 dollar bills on the sidewalk..

Be aware each bottle has the potential to be completely different due to the nature of “single barrel”

can't find anything weller in CA. But Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace are easy peasy. EH Taylor not too bad either.

When I find barrel picks (from people I trust) of ER and BT, they are usually worth the money. The mainstream stuff is decent, but I don't understand why it's so hard to find in many places.
