This is my second bottle of "Country Ham" and my second favorite Booker's behind "Backyard BBQ"

This is a meaty dram. Think Morlach but bourbon. I like it. It's got some syrupy sweet molasses stuff going on in the finish but the palate is ham and potatoes with roasted oak and roasted walnuts.

If you gotta well stocked cabinet then probably best to go with something different. But if you are a Booker's fan already then I recommend grabbing this one. I would say 8/10 overall.

Check out this WA review here:

Thanks man, sounds like this one is worth picking up.

Haven’t had that particular Weller, but really enjoy the 4Rsbs.

If you can find it, the Weller Antique is spectacular. Wheated, of course, so a very different flavor profile than 4RSBS - interesting combination of smoke, fruit, and butterscotch/caramel. We have a standing rule that if you see it, buy it.

If you like the 4RSBS and haven't tried Old Forester 1920, I'd recommend it. It's basically the 4RSBS with the volume turned up a notch. Same price IIRC.

Nice haul. I miss going out and hunting. Might have to mask up and go out this week.

Which Booker's did you get? I've been a fan of the series so far.

Beaten biscuits. I would highly recommend!
