Been eyeing those as well. A search on "Harrison AND cashmere" reveals the extent of the forum's collective (and wholly hypothetical) wisdom on these Harrison coats. Also, by happy coincidence, it yields a retail figure ($1800) for a HF cashmere coat similar to the one I asked about in another thread... I have a Harrison sweater from Bluefly, and it feels very soft; however the torso length is on the short side and the sizing is very generous. No idea how they'll hold up; mine hasn't pilled yet after 3 wearings. Of course, this may not relate to their overcoats in the slightest. Please "take one for the team" and report back...you can always return it.

I ordered both a 38 and a 40, so I'm going to keep one and return the other one -- but will of course offer the one I will return to Forum members first. My sense is that it has gotta be at least a good coat, if not very good. I should get it by Friday.

Shamefully typing this:

Since I live in SoFla, the only overcoat I own is a black Lauren by Ralph Lauren (that's right, it's a Green Label overcoat) wool SB 3-Button. I paid (stupidly) $200 for it. But, it does its job, so I can't complain much.

The Verdict: GARBAGE.

Fit is awful, armholes are so low that it'd be dangerous to wear this overcoat in the wind.

Fabric is decent softness, but not great. But fabric is VERY thin -- not warm AT ALL. Plastic buttons, obviously no hand tailoring. Total piece of crap.

Yes it is being returned. The 20% coupon was one of those one time Jimmy Choo ones. Sorry bout that.

I'd avoid the Harrison brand altogether. I remember a few forum members buying their cashmere cardigans from Bluefly and being sorely disappointed upon arrrival, just as you were. Those coats have been on Bluefly for as long as I can remember, they must have an endless supply.

Perhaps it is not an endless supply, but rather the same few coats being purchased and returned over and over.  What is that saying about you get what you pay for? Thank shiva for return policies.
