So I was downtown in SF today and I went to the Polo store on a whim. A lot of stuff was on sale and I ventured downstairs to take a look at the always lame shoe rack. I found a pair of the new, non EG, RLPL shoes for sale. I saw a price sticker of $1500 and thought "these are Purple Label, but not Edward Green." I noticed a small sale sticker sign and asked what they were marked down to. $400. They fit and bought them.

Now does anyone have any idea who makes these? These are definitely made in Italy, and the salesman who seemed pretty knowledgeable thought they were EG. They are well made and fit great, but does anyone have any ideas...

There were tons of things marked at over 50% off in the store. To call the shoe selection crap in San Francisco is an insult to crap. The salesman brought in a few of these boots in for a customer who never came back again. I think there's still a size 11 there. There were no other RLPL shoes at all. When the salesman checked the price, he was a little shocked too.

Great soles, not a fan of the buckles, but they look well made

Doesn't Sesto make shoes for Gucci? Or is that a different Sesto?
