Bought 2 pair (of my first) Levi 501s, should I get them hemmed?

I've always read about people getting their jeans hemmed around here but I always thought my jeans looked fine folded inwards... looks neat enough. :\\

Umm...I am not forgiving this comment.

To the OP, I agree with some of the other sentiments mentioned by others regarding trying another cut, a different wash (I have just grown to hate the "mom/dad" jean look of prewashed denim of this color spectrum), and getting some other footwear to compliment the jeans and overall look. Levi's are fine in my book, but not the older, boxy and shapeless fits. I'm not saying go for the skinny look, but from those pictures you posted (difficult to tell fully with those angles), these aren't suiting you properly.

And I vote for hemming if you're talking anything more than 2" or so.

... and yes, you might want to consider a different wash on your next pair.

Sperry original brown topsiders would look good. Or some Jack Purcells in white or blue. And then there's always the desert boot...

Don't fold your jeans inward oh dear god

They too wide for stacks, cuff or hem.

Or cut off. Let them fray.
