My father-in-law has an unlined Borsalino like this one (except his is blue) and his was designed to crush, roll up in a rolled-magazine kinda way, and still keep its shape.

But looking closer, I don't think that's the case. If it were crushable, you'd probably know it.

Ahh to be honest I haven’t tried, I can have a test thought. Are you interested in the hat? Am keen to move it on

I went into my hatter today and to be honest, I was looking for something in a royal/ink blue. I came out more open-minded, though am still leaning towards blue. Let me sit on it a bit.
