Was this shirt from the Luxury Vintage range? I have seen LV Borrelli shirts with narrow shoulders.

One should try to avoid buying Borrelli shirts made for US market. They are useless: too wide in a chest , too long in a shirt tail with pretty awful collars.
I have a few Brioni and Borrelli shirts and I only wear them with sweaters because of their low collars, not to mention I had to tailor them. IMHO, Borrelli shirts are not a good value at any price. They simply don't fit right.

Funny, all of my Borrelli's are opposite...very broad shoulders. I usually wear 15.5 / 15.75 and the shoulders run 20 - 21 inches.

Just be careful laundering them - not much room left for shrinkage.

Funnily enough, I just received a Borrelli shirt with similarly narrow shoulders. It's by far the slimmest Borrelli I've ever owned or seen the measurements for. It won't need any alterations and I'm very pleased with it. The narrower shoulders seem to 'work' somehow. It's a 16 collar and measures 22 inches pit to pit, and the shoulders only measure 17 inches across. It was this one from Yoox. http://cdn.yoox.biz/38/38133350la_14_f.jpg Not Luxury Vintage. Recently I've been seeing photos of Borrelli shirts with a 'slim fit' label, and wondered just how slim they fit.
