BORELLI SHIRT  QUESTION

    can anyone tell me about shrinkage in the neck of borrelli shirts? i like the fit of size 15 and 15.5 bodyis too full for me..will i wind up uncomfortable with a 15 after some launderings or do they remain true to size?

    My shirts remain true to size.

    Hand wash it and hang dry it and you won't have to worry about it.

    I take my Borelli shirst to the dry cleaner, who launders them. (Yes, it would be better to hand wash and iron myself, but ....). I have not noticed any shrinkage.

    One of the main reasons I wear Borrelli almost exclusively these days is that they are one of the few RTW shirts out there that -- for me, anyway -- remain true-to-size. I wear a size 16.5; still, with RTW shirts from everyone but Borrelli (e.g., Brioni, Charvet, Zegna, Lorenzini, etc.), I _always_ buy a size 17. The Borrelli is the only shirt that I buy in a 16.5; if you actually measure a Borrelli 16.5, you'll see that it's measures out very close to 17"...

    I always get my shirts (including about a dozen Borrelli's) laundered at the cleaners. I've had no problems with shrinkage around the neck.
