i'm searching for a pair of boots. At first i have a general question. When would you wear which kind of boots:

Which manufacturer can you advice for good boots for about 300 -350 bucks?
What do you think of Loake from the 1880 collection? I have read, that Loake shouldn't be that good (even for the money). Is that correct?
