Boots with or without laces for traveling & clubbing?

Chukkas probably have the edge in versatility since they are laced shoes that go with jeans or chinos equally well. Not to say that Chelseas don't, but they seem most at home with denim. If that doesn't matter to you, then it's really a matter of the look you're going for and which you prefer. Either would be 100% appropriate for a night out to casual or semi-casual venues.

Do you guys recommend Solovair Chelsea ("dealer" as they call them) boots? Or can I find better for less money?

Appears to be a hybrid between a chukka and a service boot, or a heavy chukka.

Another recommendation if you’re getting into boots is the service boot, there are a very wide array of brands and price points. This is the classic boot in my opinion. I would start with Wolverine 1000 Miles or Red Wing Blacksmiths, if you’re willing to make the long-term investment. Thursday Boot Co. also makes more affordable and dressier options.
