There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Redwing make boots w/ crepe soles.
Blundstone soles are not thick, nor are they crepe, nor do they have laces.

I like your boots ddml and blackgrass. Unfortunately neither of them come in my size. [IMG] I need 5E or 6E width shoes, so I am very limited as to what I can find. Currently have these boots that were made to measure.

I couldn't wear blundstones in Australia personally because its a workman boot, only tradesmen will wear them here.

I wish Frye made 1.5" soles. 2" just seems excessive.

I've got a pair of the Frye Mason zip that I like very much. Got them at the beginning of this last Fall, and they're aging wonderfully so far. The heel never seemed excessive to me at all--comparable to pretty much all my other boots, though most of my other boots have always been either combat boots or chelsea boots, so maybe that skews my impression. Those Costume National boots look awesome. I saw some on Yoox a few months back, but didn't pull the trigger. It was probably the right decision, but I still regret it a little.

There was an auction on e-bay for a pair of these in my size (11) in February. They sold for only $675, which is not bad considering they were brand new..........

Cheapmutha - polish those suckers up and get them resoled.....they will look a hundred times better and I am sure you will be able to get quite a few more years out of them....

I can't get a hold of my cam. right now but they look like this [IMG] It's very understated, not as flashy compared to other Carpe Diems but that's why I like these
