But I have a narrow 11.5 B foot. I don't think red wings are going to do it for me size wise.

Do you guys have any suggestions on something similar and under $250?

Width sizing is not a given, rather it depends also on the length. Since it is recommended that you size down on RW, you might find that a 10.5 D fits like a 11.5 B. I always find a D width too narrow but only in a size 12 never in a size 13, and yet the feel in the difference in length is negligible, I don't even notice it.

I usually find that it isn't enough of a difference.

One point has been made that red wings are big to accommodate thick socks. This means that they are bigger in all directions. I'm pretty sure sizing down isn't going to fix my problem. Especially because last time I tried to size down with boots to a 10.5 the arch wasn't in the right place and I had to return them.

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
