About two years ago, when I used to think all shoes were the same, my wife bought me my first “nice” pair of boots - a pretty solid, Goodyear construction, rubber soled mid-dark brown pair of Brunello Cuccinelli boots. They were pricey, comfy, and I loved them. Anyway, I started to get into shoes, and the rest is history. These boots haven’t been worn since and have odd special meaning to me. So, I took them out of basement storage and decided to get to work. I feel like I just found a pair of $1,000 boots. The best part is that, because the leather is actually grade-A stuff, it has aged beautifully. A good service and maintenance just brought that out.
